Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8-hour shifts with overtime available. Day shifts, some projects may require evening shift. (Weekends as needed scheduled with notice)

Key Responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Foreman include:

  • Planning & Administration - Plans, assigns, and schedules pipe-fitting jobs based on priorities and the availability of resources
  • Equipment & Materials - Orders materials, equipment, and supplies and coordinates (inspects, counts, & stores) site deliveries
  • Field Supervision - Ensures the training and performance of staff in work and safety procedures and provides ongoing evaluations
  • Job Site Presence - Ensures there is always a supervisory presence to oversee and assume responsibility for all work activities and attend all job site meetings
  • Project Manager Collaboration - Ensures clear, constant, and consistent communication takes place between the field and office

Qualified candidates will have:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the sheet metal trade
  • Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and shop drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and submittals
  • Ability to lay out and create simple drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
