Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead complex commercial real estate finance transactions on behalf of lenders and borrowers.
- Provide expert legal counsel on leverage transactions, preferred equity arrangements, and joint ventures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements and legal documents related to real estate finance.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored legal advice and strategic guidance.
- Coordinate with other legal professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Stay current with legal developments and industry trends impacting commercial real estate finance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Bar in one or more states where the Firm operates (New York, New Jersey, Maryland, or Florida).
- Proven track record in handling high-value commercial real estate finance transactions, both on lender and borrower sides.
- Experience with leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is highly desirable.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and directly with clients, demonstrating professionalism and a client-centered approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
