Role Overview
As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will perform a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures while ensuring accurate results and delivering high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing neurodiagnostic procedures including EEG, LTM, TCD, EP, and NCV
- Ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to clinical protocols
- Supporting patient care and safety throughout diagnostic testing
- Preparing, operating, and maintaining neurodiagnostic equipment
- Collaborating with physicians and care teams to support diagnosis and treatment
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be graduated from, currently enrolled in, or enrolled within six (6) months of hire in one of the following:
- CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) program
- Non-CAAHEP formal NDT program
- College program offering a minimum of an Associate's degree
Experience
Required:
- One (1) year of Neurodiagnostic experience
Licensure / Certification
Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Seizure First Aid Certification (SFAC) within 30 days
