Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for managing the handling, receiving, and organization of materials at a designated jobsite. This role ensures that all materials are properly received, inspected, stored, and distributed to support project operations efficiently and safely.

What you will do doing:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Safely unload, move, and store materials in designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Organize and stage materials for installation crews as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) in compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor material usage and assist with reordering when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized material storage area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

What you need for this position:
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • May require climbing ladders or stairs and working in confined spaces.
  • Use of PPE as required by jobsite safety protocols.
