The position will be based in Semilab SDI, Tampa, FL. Machinist will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor, who will oversee specific tasks and work schedule.

$55,120.00 - $82,680.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.

Job Summary & Responsibilities
We are seeking an CNC Machinist to support manufacturing and development of measurement equipment for the Semiconductor and Photovoltaic industries.
The position will be based in Semilab SDI, Tampa, FL. Machinist will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor, who will oversee specific tasks and work schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous machine shop experience.
- The position requires excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
- It requires highly self-motivated individual with an eagerness to learn the machinist trade and to take initiative in both solo and teamwork environments.
- The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment, as well as possess strong problem-solving abilities.
Additional Qualifications & Areas of Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:
- Running machine operations on a vertical mill and/or lathe
- Experience with conversational programming and Acu-Rite controls
- Manual Machining background
- Must have own tools
- Deburring, sanding and cleaning of machined parts.
- Running the machine shop chop saw, grinder and band saw
- Fixing and creating parts with only verbal instructions
- Ability to learn and work on the fly
- Preparing parts for coating operation
- Basic math and Geometry skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Works well with others
Experience:
- Machining: 7-10 years (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
