Responsibilities
- Support daily kitchen operations and assume leadership when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
- Assist in ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations
- Help manage inventory and place supply orders as directed
- Monitor food usage and assist with basic cost reporting
- Contribute to planning and developing creative, nutritious menus
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Support training and guidance for kitchen staff in food preparation and safety

- ServSafe Certification (Required)
- All employment offers require successful completion of a drug screening, including testing for THC/marijuana
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership or supervisory role (restaurant or healthcare setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of food safety, handling, and preparation standards
- Basic skills in menu planning and cost control
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience assisting with staff training, evaluations, or interviews
- Knowledge of industry health and safety regulations
