Position Title: IT Project Manager

Position Overview:

This role will support the customer serving as lead for IT Projects managing the full life-cycle of systems and services on classified networks. This role ensures the reliability, security, and alignment of IT solutions with the customers mission. The position requires a blend of advanced technical expertise, project management acumen, and a deep understanding of the customer community's operational landscape.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse IT projects, applying appropriate methodologies (Agile, etc.) to ensure on-time, on-budget completion in classified environments.
  • Acts as the primary advocate for intelligence systems, providing technical guidance to optimize platforms and applications on classified networks to meet evolving mission requirements.
  • Oversees the complete IT asset life-cycle, from procurement to EOL/EOS disposition.
  • Manages hardware and software inventories with strict accountability and ensures all initiatives meet DoW cybersecurity and RMF standards.
  • Serves as the central coordinator between customer leadership, technical teams, and external partners (e.g., other government agencies).
  • Provides concise, regular project updates tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Develops and maintains the long-term IT modernization roadmap for the directorate.
  • Conduct market research to recommend optimal technical solutions that support current and future intelligence missions.
  • Leads and mentors multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of professional development and promoting IT best practices.

Position Requirements:
  • 8 years of IT project management, preferably within the DoW or Intelligence Community.
  • Ability to conduct technical research and analyze emerging technologies relevant to task.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate technical approaches and operational impacts.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, white papers, road maps and analytical reports.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear written and verbal communications for government stakeholders.
  • Ability to support multiple tasks and coordinate technical efforts across government and contractor teams.
  • Proven experience with intelligence operations, classified networks, and full IT life-cycle management.
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (ITIL)
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Project and Jira

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP certification is highly desirable
  • ITIL v4 certification is highly desirable
  • Agile/Scrum certification is highly desirable
  • Bachelors in IT-related field

Required Security Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret clearance required; Able to obtain SCI eligibility.

Required Certification(s):
  • DoD approved 8570 baseline certification - IAT Level II requirement.
