Provide academic support to students in general education and special education classrooms.
Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce classroom learning objectives.
Support students with assignments, projects, classwork, and test preparation.
Monitor student behavior and assist with classroom management strategies.
Provide accommodations and modifications as outlined in student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans.
Assist students with organization, study skills, and time management.
Collect and maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
Supervise students during transitions, lunch periods, study halls, and school activities as assigned.
Help prepare instructional materials, technology, and classroom resources.
Communicate student needs and progress to teachers and other school staff.
Support students in developing social, behavioral, and independent living skills.
Assist with administering assessments and maintaining confidentiality of student information.
Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.
