The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise, particularly in Accounts Receivable, along with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Oracle Cloud Financials solutions.Must Have Technical/Functional SkillsExperience• 10-12+ years of experience in Oracle Financials with strong focus on Accounts Receivable.• Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud.• Experience working on at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion AR implementation.Functional Knowledge• Strong understanding of:o Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processeso AR-GL integration and subledger accountingo Invoicing, receipts, credit, and collections processes• Working knowledge of integrations and data migration concepts.Consulting & Communication Skills• Experience working with business stakeholders, onsite and offshore technical teams• Strong communication skills including listening and understanding regional accents of English; ability to speak English with neutral accent• Strong documentation skills.Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Oracle Fusion AR Functional Consultant is responsible for the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Accounts Receivable. The role focuses on business process design, system configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, and post-go-live supportKey Responsibilities• Solution Design: Lead the end-to-end design, prototyping, and architecture of Oracle Fusion Financials workflows, configurations, and enterprise structures.• Workshop Facilitation: Conduct requirements-gathering and discovery sessions with corporate controllers, treasury teams, finance leadership, and other key stakeholders.• Fit-Gap Analysis: Map business requirements to standard Oracle Cloud capabilities and recommend appropriate configurations, workarounds, or extensions where gaps are identified.• Configuration & Documentation: Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, process documentation, and system setup details to support implementation and governance.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical teams on data migration using FBDI/ADFDI, integrations through Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and reporting with OTBI and BI Publisher.• Testing & Deployment Support: Provide functional oversight during System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare activities.Required Skills & Qualifications• Core Module Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.• Experience Level: 10+ years of functional implementation experience in Oracle ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials environments.• Integration & Data Knowledge: Working knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA), tax engines such as Vertex or Thomson Reuters, and Oracle data conversion tools.• Communication & Leadership: Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear financial business language.• Certifications: Oracle Cloud Financials certification is preferred.
