You will be the Financial Mgmt Sr for the Financial Accounting & Reporting team. Our team is responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and supporting audit activities for MFC programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Financial Mgmt Sr you will be responsible for owning core accounting functions, applying GAAP principles, and providing analytical insights to stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities supporting MFC programs.
- Apply GAAP principles and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Execute close processes that produce accurate, on‑time financial statements.
- Respond to accounting inquiries and deliver analytical insights.
- Conduct financial analysis and support audit activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience
- Proficiency with accounting software and core accounting processes
- Hands‑on experience applying US GAAP
- Strong analytical mindset with a high degree of numerical accuracy
- Excellent communicator and collaborative team player
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree; CPA/CPA candidate
- 5 + years in accounting/finance, including 2 + years at a Fortune 500 company or CPA firm
- Financial Planning & Analysis experience
- Hands‑on work with Revenue from Contracts (ASC 606)
- Month‑end close, consolidation, or financial reporting expertise

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
