Responsibilities

- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
- Responsible for planning, communicating and implementing procedures for the overall efficient operation of all areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for coordinating the accurate preparation and distribution of the property's budget and financial reporting. Monitor, report and analyze results of financial performance.
- Manages property cash and banking accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining department compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, government regulations, and internal controls.
- Actively participates in the property executive management staff.
- Review all staffing levels to maintain optimum levels of employment.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities as needed.
- Responsible for the oversight, development, interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of Finance employees.
- Review financial activities with General Manager, Directors, and Managers as necessary.
- Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all employees.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility for the accuracy and timing of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member information.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts and work locations may change.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by executive management.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Proficient with iOS devices
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
- Minimum seven years' experience in accounting as a Controller or financial manager/officer, 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience. CPA, CMA or other financial professional accreditation is preferred.
- Gaming experience is required.

- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
