Build Something That Lasts. Earn What You're Worth.

For 40 years, Comfort Temp has kept North Central Florida's businesses comfortable, safe, and running - and our customers have rewarded that consistency with a 4.9 out of 5 star satisfaction rating. Now we're looking for a Commercial Sales Advisor ready to build a real book of business, with first-year on-target earnings up to $200,000. If you know how to open doors, build trust with decision makers, and turn a conversation into a long-term customer relationship - this is your seat at the table.

About Us

Since 1985, Comfort Temp has served commercial and residential customers across North Central Florida with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical solutions built on one simple idea: solve the problem by doing the work right, and the relationship takes care of itself. 40 years in business - that's not luck, that's four decades of showing up and doing what we said we'd do.

Our values guide everything we do:
  • Do what you say.
  • Do what it takes.
  • Walk with purpose.
  • Do the right thing.

Job Summary

We're not looking for someone to sit and wait for leads. We're looking for a hunter - someone who builds pipeline, earns trust with business owners, property managers, and general contractors, and knows how to turn a facility walkthrough into a signed proposal.

Earning potential: Up to $200,000 OTE in your first year (salary and commission), for the right person who brings the activity and the relationships to match.

Role and Responsibility:
  • Prospect and develop new commercial HVAC and plumbing opportunities through networking, referrals, field activity, cold calling and company-provided leads
  • Build lasting relationships with business owners, property managers, facilities managers, and general contractors
  • Conduct site visits, facility reviews, and mechanical system evaluations
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, scopes, and bids for commercial installations, replacements, and service work
  • Partner closely with estimating, operations, project management, and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Manage an active pipeline and keep your activity documented in the CRM
  • Represent Comfort Temp at customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent growth of a net-new commercial pipeline
  • Monthly and quarterly sales goals met or exceeded
  • Strong, trust-based relationships that turn into repeat business
  • Smooth handoffs that set up estimating and operations for success

Is This You?

You're comfortable prospecting and building your own pipeline - not just working what's handed to you. You ask good questions, listen for what a facility actually needs, and know how to turn that into a solution the customer trust. You want a company with a real reputation behind you, and you want to be paid like the closer you are.

What you bring:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of HVAC experience and 3+ years of sales experience
  • Proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales funnel, and move opportunities through a longer sales cycle
  • Comfort conducting site visits, walking facilities, and gathering the information needed to build accurate proposals
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, controls, service contracts, or mechanical drawings preferred
  • Strong presentation, follow-up, and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple opportunities and deadlines at once
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and basic estimating or proposal tools preferred
  • Must reside within driving distance of Gainesville, FL, or Orlando, FL, or be willing to relocate at personal expense
